Incidents

In early 2025 a handful of raids on scam compounds took place in Poipet, leading to the arrest of several hundred foreigners. A report by Al Jazeera in March 2025 identified Site BM07 and said that according to Cambodian authorities a raid on the location in late February found over 100 foreigners working in the compound.
