Site BM06 is an unnamed property south of Poipet city. In July 2025, it was raided as part of a nationwide crackdown on scam operations. Police arrested 28 Chinese nationals and found evidence of sophisticated law enforcement impersonation scams.

Background

Site BM06 is an unnamed property south of Poipet city, located directly on the Thai border. The building has likely only been operational for a short time as Google Earth imagery shows it was still under construction as of March 2024.

In July 2025, it was raided as part of a nationwide crackdown on scam operations. Police arrested 28 Chinese nationals and found evidence of sophisticated law enforcement impersonation scams.

The scam operation located in the building may only have been recently set up, and we have found posts on Facebook property pages advertising the property for rent as recently as May 2025.

Incidents

On 18 July, during a nationwide crackdown on online crime sites, law enforcement raided the property and arrested 28 Chinese nationals. Police found evidence that sophisticated law enforcement impersonation scams were being conducted from the property. This included Chinese police uniforms, props to simulate a Chinese police station and interrogation room, and various fake documents. Police also found evidence of narcotics crimes, including bags containing white crystals, weighing tools, and packaging.

We were unable to identify who owns or manages this property. A report by NKD News claims the property is owned by a Hong Rasmey, but we were unable to confirm the identity of this person.
