Site BM02 is an unnamed property located north of the city centre of Poipet. Posts in Telegram channels used by online industry workers have identified this location as a site of online scam operations.

The post below from someone who claims to have worked here says it houses more than 70 people targeting victims in China. They work 18 hours a day ‘under high pressure’, and failure to perform results in shocks and beatings. Those who wish to leave must pay ‘compensation’.

The post below from April 2026 describes the site as ‘a living hell’. It says conditions are similar to those in Myanmar scam compounds, and claims that Myanmar nationals work as security. The poster says workers are beaten severely for any offence, half of the workforce are covered in bruises and welts, and four people who attempted to escape in March were beaten for hours. This person says his company moved from Chrey Thom after raids started there in January, then to National Road 72 in Tboung Khmum, then to Poipet.
