Background

Construction of 15Y Park began in late 2023, and it now fills an entire block in downtown Poipet, with 12 large buildings.

The compound features in various Telegram channels used by scam industry workers, who complain about brutal treatment by bosses, arbitrary fines, seized passports, and restricted movement.

With a nationwide online scam crackdown reaching Poipet in April 2026, a former worker posting on Telegram on 28 April claimed the gates remained closed, even as major raids were hitting other locations in the city.
