Yongyuan is a licensed casino, but also has a large closed compound containing online workers from various countries. There have been reports of trafficking to the site, detention and several deaths. It is owned by a Chinese-born casino mogul who built his casino empire in Myanmar before expanding to Laos and Cambodia.
